DIY Starbucks Autumn Apple Crisp Latte
No matter what time of the year you can enjoy some cozy coffee drinks. Iced or Hot, here is how you can make your own homemade apple crisp syrup without having to wait in line.
Ingredients for Apple Crisp Syrup & Drizzle:
- ½ cup packed light or dark brown sugar
- 1 tsp packed ground cinnamon
- ⅓ cup apple juice or apple juice concentrate
- Pinch of salt
- ½ tsp pure vanilla extract
Directions:
- In a small saucepan, whisk together the brown sugar, apple juice or concentrate, cinnamon, and pinch of salt.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer. Once simmering, cook on low heat for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Don't let the syrup boil. The syrup should begin to thicken.
- Remove from the heat and add the vanilla extract. Let cool completely at room temperature. The syrup will continue to thicken as it cools.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
